The 70th matchup between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Iowa State Cyclones is this Saturday (September 7), and it is one of the most fun games of the year for fans of both teams.

The 2 biggest and most popular colleges in the state battle it out and fans hope to enjoy bragging rights at the office, on social media, or in their own houses! If a husband is a fan of one school and the wife is a fan of another school, you know they're hoping to bring up their team winning at the family Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner!

Not every state has a football rivalry like this that they can get excited about and it's so much fun to see everyone showing off their school spirit throughout the state. Sure, pretty much every school has some rivalry with a certain team but not every college has a big in-state rival to get excited about.

Cy-Hawk Game at Riverfront Stadium

If you don't want to watch the game from your house or a busy sports bar, the Waterloo Bucks are hosting a watch party for the big game this weekend. They will be showing the game on the 474-square-foot LED video board.

You can watch the game from the field as fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the game. They will also have concession stands open for you to be able to get snacks while watching the game.

If you're looking for something fun to do with the family or you want to watch the game with other fans, the Waterloo Bucks and Riverfront Stadium invite everyone to attend. To make things even better, entry into the stadium is completely free.

Show up supporting your favorite team, and enjoy one of the best rivalries in college football, while you're surrounded by fellow football fans. Sounds like the perfect event to me!
