Iowa’s Favorite Baker Returns for Netflix’s Holiday Baking Battle

In 2022, a Des Moines native became the first winner of a hit Netflix baking competition show. 

The streaming service capitalized on the internet trend of hyper realistic cakes when they created the sweet program 'Is It Cake?'

Now, several years later there are three seasons in total and a holiday season on the way! A familiar face returned for this Yuletide twist on the popular show.

In season one, Andrew Fuller of Iowa quickly became a fan favorite. With his unique personal style and expert skill, he was the frontrunner from the very first episode.

He kept the momentum going and ended up winning the inaugural season of the show.

Fuller Returns To 'Is It Cake?' This Holiday Season

Officials from Netflix announced that 'Is It Cake?' will be back for a holiday themed all-star season. This competition will feature nine bakers from all three previous seasons.

Season One Returning Contestants:

• Jonny Manganello
• Andrew Fuller
• April Julian

Season Two Returning Contestants:

• Elizabeth Rowe
• Miko Kaw Hok Uy
• Danya Smith.

Season Three Returning Contestants:

• Henderson Gonzalez
• Grace Pak
• Jujhar Mann

All of these talented bakers will be sculpting sweet versions of ice skates, wreaths, nutcrackers, and so much more for a chance at a massive grand prize.

The holiday version of 'Is It Cake?' is currently streaming on Netflix.
