Update:

As of Monday afternoon, David Eickholt from 247Sports shared on KXNO that five-star offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor of Southeast Polk is no longer committed to playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

This is what the regular guest on Cornstalks and Sports Talk said:

"I can tell you for a 100% fact that Kadyn Proctor is already decommitted from Iowa, it's just not made public yet. But he has informed the school and the coaches that he is no longer committed."

His decision to decommit comes after an unofficial visit to Alabama this past weekend. He's expected to sign a letter of intent on Wednesday, at 8:45 AM according to a tweet he shared. The tweet doesn't mention Iowa or Alabama.

Though Proctor hasn't made any sort of official announcement himself, he does still have the following tweet pinned to his Twitter profile, and the pictures are also still on his Instagram page:

Just over a month ago, Oregon recruiting reporter for On3.com Justin Hopkins shared a prediction that five-star offensive tackle and Iowa football commit Kadyn Proctor would flip his decision and sign with the Ducks.

Now, another writer from the site has the Southeast Polk product flipping his recruitment, too. This time, to a different school.

Andrew Bone, who covers Alabama football recruiting for On3, believes that Proctor will instead choose the Crimson Tide come signing day this week, December 21. This is all after Proctor visited campus this past weekend, December 17 and 18.

This is what an On3 article on potential commitment flips had to say about the offensive lineman's decision: "The in-state star from Des Moines (Iowa) Southeast Polk has been committed to the Hawkeyes since this summer, and all seemed to be well this fall. But Proctor showed up at Oregon a few weeks ago for an official visit, and the buzz around the Ducks started to become real. This weekend, he’s at Alabama, one of the main contenders before he chose Iowa in June. According to (Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons), the Crimson Tide have become the most talked-about school with Proctor as the final days wind down."

As of now, Bone and Simmons are joined by fellow recruiting writers at On3 Joseph Hastings and Jeremy Johnson in their prediction flip from Iowa to Alabama. Oregon reporter Hopkins remains on his pick of the Ducks while national recruiting analyst for the site Sam Spiegelman says Proctor will stay with Iowa.

Meanwhile, four recruiting writers on 247Sports.com have also flipped their prediction to Alabama. Regular guests on Cornstalks and Sports Talk Sean Bock and David Eickholt are two of the four that believe he will choose the Crimson Tide.
