A popular boxed mac and cheese is being recalled due to serious undeclared allergens, per a release from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The affected boxes stretch across a wide, monthlong range and should not be consumed.

On September 10th, Gooder Foods Inc. announced the company would be recalling several different lots of its Goodles boxed mac and cheese. This follows eight people reportedly suffering allergic reactions in connection with two different variants of the noodles.

What are the Affected Products?:

Gooder Foods revealed one affected product is the company's "Vegan Is Believin'," which is a plant-based white cheddar mac and cheese, may contain milk. Meanwhile, the company's "Here Comes Truffle," a truffle-flavored pasta, also may contain cashews. Both those allergens were undeclared on the product's packaging.

From someone who is allergic to tree nuts, take it from me: a person with allergies to nuts, or even milk, could become seriously sick if they consume either of these products. It could even be life-threatening, especially when we're talking about anaphylactic shock, which can lead to a person's airway closing in seconds.
