Dylan Schneider Packs 16 Songs Into Debut Album ‘Puzzled’ [Exclusive]
Dylan Schneider isn’t new to the country scene, but his individuality within his lyrics and sound has more recently set him centerstage.
The singer gears up to brand his name in the industry with the release of his debut album, PUZZLED, due Sept. 27.
This 16-song track list debuts exclusively on Taste of Country. The album features his previously released songs “Ain’t Missin’ You” and “Bad Decisions.”
It’s a roll down your windows album, highlighting upbeat hits and slower, soulful numbers. The singer co-write all tracks, apart from the title track “Puzzled,” which he solely wrote.
This body of work showcases not only the singer’s impressive vocal range, but also his gifted lyric crafting.
“A lot of people saw so much [of my life] on my social media presence so soon,” he shares during an Instagram Live with Taste of Country’s Adison Haager. “I kinda backed away from that when I felt like I didn’t have to do as much because I was touring.”
Taking a step back allowed the singer to check in on the music he wanted to put his name behind.
“Carhartt” is a song on the album that Schneider is particularly excited for, confident it will be the song of the fall.
Outside of touring with country hitmakers Mitchell Tenpenny, Kane Brown and Luke Bryan, the singer will kick off his own “Bad Decisions” Tour Sept. 30.
“I want to be a good mentor,” the singer tells Taste of Country about his opening acts for this tour. “I want someone to have a good show, an opportunity they wouldn’t have otherwise.”
