Christmas music in September? It's too soon!

You might backtrack on that a little when you hear what one Cincinnati radio station is doing for a terminally ill young man in their community.

2-year-old Brody Allen has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, and loves everything Christmas. To ensure he gets to celebrate his favorite holiday properly this year, the community has rallied around him and his family. Christmas lights and decorations are going up around town. and throughout the month of September, one local radio station is playing...Christmas music.

Warm 98.5 (WRRM-FM) is warming hearts by playing one Christmas tune an hour in honor of Brody. WRRM DJ Amanda Orlando said,

Often times we feel helpless and like you can't help a situation. This is kind of our small way of being part of his Christmas time

We concur. Meanwhile, our thoughts will be with Brody and his family.

As we inch closer to the Christmas season and our own holiday programming, we will carry the banner even more proudly knowing it's a small way to lift spirits out there for so many who need it, including young men like Brody.
