Iowans Raise Flags In Solidarity As COVID-19 Wages On

My boss here at the radio station sent the above photo in a text to our entire staff earlier today.  It's a cell phone picture of his house, with the American flag on the side of the garage.

His message said, "My wife Judy just had a great idea! Let's display our flags as Americans in solidarity during one of the worst times in our history. Let's do this!"

The message made me smile and I started to think...What if we can get everyone to proudly fly a flag outside their home. It would be so cool! This is the type of positive vibes this country needs right now.

I don't own a flag, but I plan to purchase one today. I'd like to ask all of you to do the same thing. Let's stick together during this tough time and be strong. We live in the best country in the world, so let's salute it.

I'd like to thank Terry and Judy for this great idea. Let's try and get everyone in Eastern Iowa to fly the colors of the American flag.

Good vibes and prayers are all we have right now, let's do this and stay positive.
