Valentine's Day is over, so if you got engaged on the most romantic holiday of the year you're probably going to soon start ironing out wedding details. According to the Knot, the most popular wedding season is the couple of months between May and October.

When I think of the "ultimate wedding destination," I'm usually imagining something tropical or exotic. However, one location right here in the Hawkeye State is oftentimes considered the best wedding destination in the Midwest.

If you want to get married in a historical venue, this well-known church in Nashua might be the place for you. For nearly 200 years, the Little Brown Church in the Vale has been considered the #1 wedding destination in the Midwest, according to the venue website.

Located right along Highway 346 Nashua, it is a bit north of Waterloo and less than five miles from the Avenue of the Saints Highway. This popular tourist destination was built in the 1860s and more than 76,000 couples have tied the knot ever since.

If you are looking to get married at the Little Brown Church; the service will be a Christian one performed by the Church's pastor Pastor Drew McHolm.

The historic church can only hold 100 people, so if you plan to get hitched here then make sure to take that into account. Also, for the actual service there can only be six members of the wedding party at the front of the church since it's so small.

That will probably include the two individuals getting married, two groomsmen, and two bridesmaids. So remember...keep it small if you want to get married at the Little Brown Church in the Vale.
