Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds revealed at her daily press briefing that 125 people in Iowa tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, the most in any one day thus far. The 125 new cases follow 97 new ones announced yesterday, and 102 announced by the Iowa Department of Public Health on Tuesday.

According to Governor Reynolds, 1,270 positive cases of the virus have now been confirmed in Iowa, along with 29 deaths. WHO reports two deaths in the last 24 hours, both from Linn County. An elderly resident (81+) and an older adult (61-80).
