Iowa Pop Star To Launch 2019 Balloon Glow in New Location

Summer is here and so is the excitement of another season of terrific Freedom Festival events.

Iowa's favorite pop music artist Alisabeth Von Presley will perform at this year's Balloon Glow on Tuesday, June 25.

We told you last month that organizers announced a new location for the popular Balloon Glow, moving to the Sinclair Levy, 1430 2nd St. SE in the NewBo District.

The move puts Balloon Glow into a much bigger space to accommodate growing crowds.

The gates open at 5:00 p.m. There will be food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Coolers with outside food and beverages will be allowed, but please no pets and no fireworks (including sparklers). Smoking is not allowed on the levy's grounds.

Alisabeth Von Presley calls Balloon Glow "4 hours of non-stop fun with backup dancers and a rockin' band". She's promising a "brand new show" that will feature new music as well as plenty of hits.

$5 Freedom Festival buttons will be available for purchase at the Sinclair Levy gate (cash only). Kids ages 8 and under are free. Those buttons also provide admission to lots of other Freedom Festival events. Check out the complete schedule here.
