Iowans Show Off Their 2025 Halloween Costumes [GALLERY]

Man, I love Halloween so much.

After spending the weekend out and about in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, I have to say... people REALLY brought their a-game this year! I saw so many creative costumes both in-person and on social media, and I'm thoroughly impressed. I'm already looking forward to next year!

Our 2025 Costumes

Since 2016, Brain and I have celebrated Halloween by doing a morning show costume here at work. We've had some pretty amazing ones over the years, but I think this year's is definitely in my top three.

I came up with the theme for our 2025 costumes shortly after Halloween of 2024. I told Brain that we would be dressing up as Muppets, and that he could choose ANY Muppet that he wanted, except for Beaker. Beaker is my favorite, so I already knew he was my pick. I assumed Brain would choose Animal or the Swedish Chef, but I was surprised to discover that I was dead wrong. He walked into the studio Halloween morning dressed as MISS PIGGY. It was epic!
