Iowa College Student Won $100,000 at Big Ten Championship Game [VIDEO]
Caleb Line is wearing a big smile (above) after winning the Dr. Pepper Tuition Challenge at Saturday night's Big Ten Championship football game. The victory sent Caleb back to college at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa with a check for $100,000!
Students have to describe how they will change the world and upload a video describing how winning the money from Dr. Pepper would impact them. He was one of just 20 contestants chosen from around the country to compete at conference championship games around the country. Caleb competed Saturday night in Indianapolis, Indiana during halftime of the Ohio State-Northwestern game.
Caleb was the best tosser, getting eight footballs through the opening in 30 seconds. Line is from Nashua, Iowa and is studying biochemistry at Wartburg. He hopes to earn a PhD and enter agricultural research, telling the Des Moines Register he wants to,
Hopefully lessen the impact of hunger around the world.
