Hy-Vee IndyCar Race Weekend at Iowa Speedway happens Friday through Sunday, July 21-23. It's called a "turbocharged blend of world-class live music and thrilling racing." That's a perfect description of what's sure to be an awesome weekend of fun in Newton.

Friday's schedule includes IndyCar practice and Indy NXT qualifying, as well as an Indy NXT Driver Autograph session.

When the weekend officially begins, the excitement will really ramp up. On Saturday, the day begins with qualifying for Saturday afternoon's Hy-Vee Homefront 250 and Sunday's Hy-Vee One Step 250. That's followed by the Indy NXT Race. Just before noon, country superstar Carrie Underwood will hit the stage.

After Underwood's performance, it's the Hy-Vee Homefront 250, and then another concert. Country superstar Kenny Chesney will conclude the day.
