The Addams Family
- Old Creamery Theatre in Amana
- October 12th & 13th at 7:30 p.m. and October 14th at 2 p.m.

Mount Vernon Chili Cook-Off 2018
- Main Street in Mount Vernon
- October 13th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- "The event features 25 four-person teams competing for cash prizes totaling $450 and bragging rights"
- Biodegradable sample chili cups are available for $1 each, or you can purchase a 25-sample punch card for $20
