The Hinterland Music Festival takes place each year in St. Charles, Iowa. The Des Moines Register reports that it is about a 30 minute drive south of Des Moines. It is the largest music festival in Iowa. Hinterland has brought in some of the biggest acts in all of music in recent years, including Chapell Roan, Tyler the Creator, Noah Kahan, Kacey Musgraves, Zach Bryan, and more!

When is Hinterland being held in 2026?

The Register reports that Hinterland will now be a four-day music festival! Yes, they have added another day of music. The 2026 dates for Hinterland are Thursday, July 30th, through Sunday, August 2nd, 2026.

When Do Tickets for Hinterland 2026 go on sale?

If you want to get tickets for the four-day festival in 2026, the Register reports that fans can register to get tickets at the lowest price at Hinterland's website. Registration runs through October 26th. Fans who get an invite can then purchase tickets on November 3rd and 4th. More general public ticket sales will happen at a later date.
