Maryland was looking for it's first signature win over a Top 25 team this season and it came at the expense of the Iowa Hawkeyes. Maryland extended it's home winning streak to 25 game with a 74-68 over Iowa.

Iowa shot just 21.7% from 3 point range, an area where the Hawkeyes have been shooting 41% and were 9th in the country.

Peter Jok lead the Hawkeyes with 14 points, Mike Gesell had 12. Jarrod Uthoff was bottled up all night and finished with 11 points on just 2-13 shooting from the floor and was 0-3 from 3 point range.

Iowa is still tied with Indiana for 1st place in the Big Ten at 7-1 and 16-3 overall.
