A Couple of Pop-Up Halloween Bars Will Open Soon in Iowa
This October, popular Des Moines restaurant The Station on Ingersoll will open up a Halloween wonderland! For the second year in a row, Dugan's Hideaway, the back bar of the restaurant, will temporarily become Nightmare On Ingersoll.
Described as "a woefully spirited month-long Halloween event," Nightmare on Ingersoll features "dreadful drinks and freaky fun." Since Nightmare on Ingersoll is located at The Station, their food menu will be available, along with a fun, Halloween cocktail lineup! It includes:
- Carrie's Blood Bag
- Electric Shock Shot
- Witches Blood Sangria
- Apple Mini Beer Shot
- The Betelgeuse
- Jack’s Revenge
- Morticia’s Martini
- Camp Crystal Lake Water
- Maple Syrup Massacre
MOCKtail options include:
- Casper’s Caramel Apple Cider
- Dracula’s Dinner (kid favorite)
- Winifred’s Witches Brew
- Poison Apple Mule
- Boo-Berry Lemonade (kid favorite)
In addition to all the spooky decor and the Halloween menu, Nightmare on Ingersoll will also host a number of different special events throughout the month. That includes Beetlejuice trivia, Hocus Pocus trivia, a comedy showcase, and more.
Nightmare on Ingersoll's 2024 hours are Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Reservations are available for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Those can be made HERE.
The folks behind Nightmare on Ingersoll are also preparing to open another pop-up Halloween bar called Nightmare at Jordan Creek. It will be located inside of the Jordan Creek Town Center and will be open the same dates, October 1st through November 2nd.
