When you see those soft brown eyes and that goofy smile, you'd never know the trials and troubles our new friend Titan has been through. He is yet another animal that survived one of the coldest winters in Iowa history, and is honestly lucky to be with us!

Titan was discovered as a stray during that brutal cold weather stretch we had during the month of February. Highs during the day were below zero. Titan was found outside in rough shape. He as thin, and his feet were frozen and bleeding from the ice and cold outside. Lucky for him he was taken to Safe Haven of Iowa County where he continues  his recovery.

Titan is around 2 years old and is a Boxer/Pit Bull mix. Yes, he has a few grays around the edges but he is still just a young pup. Despite what he's been through, he is a loving and playful dog. In fact, he hates it when you leave him! Titan wants to play and hang out! He is not cat friendly, but dogs would probably be O.K. if introduced properly. Small kids are also not a great idea just because of his size and energy level!

Titan is a sweet and loving dog that deserves a great new home. If you have room in your house and heart for him, you can find out more about Titan and how to adopt him at Safe Haven of Iowa County. Let's bring this big boy home!
