Fun Party Ideas to Make Your Holidays Even Brighter [PHOTOS]

Planning a Christmas or New Year's party this month? Here are some fun ideas you might want to incorporate!

This weekend my friends and I *attempted* to throw a Christmas Party, and it went great, even though 75% of our guests canceled on us at the last minute! We did the classic 'ugly sweater' theme, but we also included a dip theme. That's right, instead of asking people to bring a dish of their choice, we asked them to bring a DIP of their choice! Here are a few of dips we ended up with (not pictured: bacon dip and queso):

Aside from the food, we also played a few party games like Cards Against Humanity, Catch Phrase, and Watch Ya' Mouth, all of which went over very well. I was looking through Pinterest for some more fun holiday party ideas, and here are a few I think are worth sharing:
