According to CBS2, "Hy-Vee announced Wednesday it has begun offering COVID-19 testing at 11 Hy-Vee pharmacy locations throughout its eight-state region."

Locally, here in Eastern Iowa, the Hy-Vee Drugstore on 310 North 1st Avenue in Iowa City will be one on of the locations you can visit for a free test.

To get a test, you don't have to have any COVID-19 symptoms. All you have to do is register online and book an appointment. To get a test voucher, you can visit this link.

Once you visit the link, you will receive a voucher number and you will be assigned a time for your test. All of the tests are being done through a drive-through.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, testing times are 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. They are also testing on Saturday morning, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. For more information, you can visit this link.

I've taken a COVID-19 test before, it's really not that bad. Yes, they do stick a sharp object up your nose, but it's quick and it doesn't really hurt. I'll be honest, going in to take the test I was a little nervous. But when it was over, it wasn't really that bad at all.

If you take a test at the Hy-Vee in Iowa City, your results will be mailed to you within five days.
