You Can Try 20 of Cedar Rapids’ Best Restaurants in One Night

Tickets are on sale now for a huge tasting event ahead of Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week! The Fork & Knife Feast is officially set for Thursday, February 20th.

Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week is an annual event that's held each winter by the Cedar Rapids Economic Alliance. Eastern Iowans are encouraged to check out participating locally-owned restaurants over the course of 10 days. It's a way to support these unique eateries during a time where business is typically the slowest. The 2025 Cedar Rapids Restaurant Week will be held Friday, February 21st through Sunday, March 2nd.

The night before Restaurant Week begins, there is a kickoff event called the Fork & Knife Feast. The 2025 event will be held at EPIC Event Center in Marion. It features all 20 of the (yet to be announced) participating restaurants, "who will sample culinary concoctions and preview items that may be part of their special Restaurant Week menus." I went to my first one last year (as you can see from the photos below), and I recommend that you come hungry!

Tickets to the Fork & Knife Feast are $75 and include food and beverage samples from all 20 restaurants, as well as a drink ticket. They are very limited, so getting your tickets early is highly encouraged. You can purchase them online HERE.
