Fall is on its way! We are getting into the last few weekends of summer, which means the end of many summer events. Here are some of the fun things going on here in Eastern Iowa this weekend:

- "The walk celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes in an effort to improve their heart-health, and encourages others to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles, while raising the funding needed for life-saving research and education"

- Doggie Plunge
- North Liberty Pool and Aquatic Center
- September 9th from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Proceeds will support the NLPD's canine officer, Falco, and the Cedar Valley Humane Society
- One dog per handler (16 and up) and you must have proof of current rabies and distemper vaccinations the day of the swim
- $7 per dog - get registered HERE

- City Park Pool in Iowa City
- September 9th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- "All participating dogs MUST have proof of current Rabies vaccination - we must see a copy of the certificate (snap a photo on your phone), tags only work if there is an expiration date on the tag"
- Registration is $10 in advance (before September 6th) or $15 at the door
