KHAK’s First Responder Friday Honors Jeffery Jacobi

Every Friday morning at 6:30, 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an Eastern Iowa first responder during our 'First Responder Friday' segment! The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford and a $25 gift card to Honor and Respect.

Today we are honoring Jeffery Jacobi who was nominated by Danny Fisher. The entry reads:

Jeffrey Jacobi has been on the Chelsea Fire Department since July 6th, 2022. He started showing interest at the age of 7. Jeffrey is a 3rd generation firefighter following in his father's and grandfather's steps on the Chelsea Fire Department. Jeffrey is the youngest member of the department. Jeffrey is always cool, calm, and collected and is never afraid to get his hands dirty. Jeffrey is very dedicated to the fire department and the surrounding communities. Jeffrey is caring, kind, and friendly, and is an amazing person. And he loves to help people. Jeffrey is always willing to help anyone, anytime, and always lends a hand when needed. Jeffrey's family and friends could not be prouder of his dedication he has shown in his role on the Chelsea Fire Department. Jeffrey is a loyal firefighter, he goes on all fire calls. When the weather gets bad, he goes out weather watching. The Chelsea Fire Department is lucky to have him. Even when waiting for the tones, Jeffrey dedicates his free time to the Belle Plaine Ambulance service, serving as Chelsea's first responder and within Benton County.
