Join the KHAK crew as we broadcast live from the new Cedar Rapids Fleet Farm, collecting toys for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and Salvation Army to benefit Linn County kids.
KHAK's Brain and Courtlin will be live at the Cedar Rapids Fleet Farm Friday, November 22 from 7 am to 10 am and Bob James is live Friday afternoon from 3 to 7 pm. Then Saturday, join us again as we broadcast live from 7 am to 11 am.
We'll be accepting new, unwrapped toys for newborns through age 14. In 2018, more than 4800 kids from over 900 families benefited from Toys for Tots in Linn County and over 19,000 toys were donated. This year's goal is 25,000 toys and the greatest need is toys for kids between ages 9 and 14 and for infants to 2-year-olds. You can also drop off checks, payable to "Toys for Tots," during our live broadcast(s). Anyone who donates while we're live will receive a coupon good for $10 off your next $50 purchase at Fleet Farm and a pair of tickets to Collins Road Theatres.
