Bring the whole family for a fun-filled trek for treasures - and help Iowa’s pets at the same time – On the Pedestrian Mall in Iowa City Saturday, September 21st, 10 AM to 1 PM. Presented by Iowa Humane Alliance, it’s the IHA Treasure Trek Scavenger Hunt. Sharp-eyed treasure-seekers can search for clues. What will YOU find? The $100 Grand Prize? Free merchandise offers and discounts? Blackbeard’s buried chest of pirate GOLD?! OK, maybe not that last one. But you’re sure to discover a day of big fun for all and the priceless feeling of giving animals a helping hand by joining in the fun.
