Eastern Iowans Share Their Best Tattoos [GALLERY]

Happy National Tattoo Day, everybody!

July 17th is a special day for tattoo-lovers because it's a day to celebrate some awesome body art! As of right now, I have four tattoos, but I'll be getting my 5th on September 1st. I got my very first one right after my 18th birthday, and I've been hooked ever since!

I know this isn't the case with everyone, but all of my tattoos have some sort of meaning to me. I thought about each of them for at least a year before making the appointment to get them done. I have one on my hip, my foot, my wrist, and my forearm, and my new one will be on the underside of my upper right arm. The one that hurt the worst was definitely my foot, but I think it was worth it.

That one isn't my favorite tattoo, though. The one I love the most is my newest one, which I've only had for a few years now. It's a fancy version of the Deathly Hallows symbol from Harry Potter, and I'm so in love with it! Here's a photo that I look at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this May:
