Eastern Iowans Reveal Their Favorite Part of the Super Bowl

I don't know about you, but to me it feels like the month of January has lasted FOREVER. February officially kicks off on Thursday, which means the Super Bowl is coming up on Sunday!

To be honest with you, I will be watching on Sunday, but I don't care about the game at all. What I DO care about is the halftime show and the commercials. Apparently, I'm not alone! PR Newswire recently published an article with the results of the Fifth Annual Burson-Marsteller Super Bowl Survey, and they asked people if they'd rather watch a great game with boring commercials or a boring game with great commercials. Not surprisingly, most people care more about the game, but 27% said they actually care more about the ads. When it comes to those ads, people definitely like the funny ones. 67% said funny ads are the most important, with informative ads coming in second at 46%.

We took to Facebook this week to ask you about your favorite part of the game, and another popular answer was the FOOD.

According to the survey, 40% of Americans say wings are the best food to snack on during the game, followed by pizza at 33% and nachos at 16%. I plan on going to a bar to watch the game this year just so I can eat some nachos without having to make them myself!
