Eastern Iowa Welcomes New Golf Entertainment Complex
Visit Quad Cities has recently announced via press release the concept of a new golf and entertainment complex coming to Bettendorf.
With construction set to begin this spring, the yet-unnamed project is currently in the schematic phase and is expected to be completed by the Summer or Fall of 2023. CEO Ryan Hintze of Middle & Forest Grove, LLC, who will oversee, design, and construct the project shared the announcement:
Our group is beyond excited to bring this type of golf entertainment venue to the Quad Cities. We want to continue to grow our community, stimulate our local economy and support our neighborhood restaurants/retailers. This entertainment venue is something we have been working toward for quite some time now, and we are delighted we finally get to share it with the public
It will be an amazing experience for visitors
The three-level complex will include:
- Top Tracer Technology in 60+ climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays
- "Chef-driven" menu-items and top-shelf drinks
- Year-round music and entertainment
- Numerous hi-def televisions across the premises, including one giant 4K LED TV--estimated as the largest such in the state of Iowa, in the main bar
Year-round regular events for families and groups will be held
Various events for families and kids will be held, along with social leagues, golf tournaments, corporate events, showers, graduation parties, concerts, charity events, and more. If you like video games, this will be the place for you, too. The complex includes a state-of-the-art video gaming space and immersive virtual reality experiences. Escape rooms, multi-sport simulators, and high-tech games.
But wait, there's more
Finally, they will have a large event space, rooftop patio, and an outdoor plaza area as well as turf-based baseball, soccer, and softball fields. All we can say is wow!
Altogether, the complex will span more than 70,000 square feet across from TBK Sports Complex. You won't believe what that property already has in the way of sports and entertainment, and the new development will be managed by Troon, considered "the leader in providing golf and club-related leisure and hospitality services." The surrounding area has and will continue to be developed with additional hotels, convenience stores, restaurants, and retail outlets.
