Drake University Makes Tuition Promise To Students

Imagine being a college student facing the rising cost of tuition. Now imagine that your tuition won't change until you get your degree. Drake University in Des Moines is making that a reality.

The school is guaranteeing that next year's incoming class will pay the same tuition bill every year until they graduate. No price hike. No hidden fees. The same for each year. Officials with the school believe it is the first tuition guarantee of it's kind in the state. Drake President Early Martin says the school hopes to increase enrollment and keep more students at the school by offering the deal.

Tuition at Drake for next fall is $39.000. That is an 11% increase from 2016.
