Cute Story of Why Wife Takes Bite Out of Husband's Sandwich

A Texas woman has a unique way of displaying affection toward her husband, which she shared to Facebook, causing it to go viral.

“Clifford and I have been married almost 41 years and I have made his lunch every working day since Day 1,” Tracy Howell in her post.

She went on to explain, “On occasion I would join him on the job site and have lunch with him. He made the comment once that lunch tasted better when you share it with someone you love.”

Clifford's words made an impression on Tracy, and one day she decided to take a bite of his sandwich.

After he got home from work, he told her someone took a bite out of his sandwich when he wasn't looking.

Tracy then explained, “I told him that since I couldn’t join him for lunch, I took a bite so he knew I was joining him.” It appears that her romantic sandwich-skimming scheme worked out with Clifford.

“I continue to do this frequently (unless it’s tuna or pimento cheese),” wrote Tracy, “and he still says, ‘Saw you joined me for lunch today and it sure was good.'”

Some might get upset by their spouse taking a bite of their food, but for Clifford and Tracy, it's a gesture of love that's lasted over four decades.
