Courtlin's Resolution Movie List

Last week I crossed another movie off my list, and this one wasn't on my original list, it was actually suggested to me by a listener!

For week 18 I watched The Big Lebowski, which was directed by the Coen brothers, and coincidentally, this week's movie was also directed by them. I went north this week for: Fargo (1996).

First off , it was a GREAT movie. I was definitely not disappointed. Secondly, Marge has to be one of my favorite movie characters of all time. Her entire demeanor and attitude is just fantastic. And her relationship with her husband Norm is pretty much my favorite thing ever. When he got up to make her eggs I wanted to cry. The sweetest couple ever! I won't lie, though, the Minnesota accents drove me a little bit insane. Why does everyone say, "yah," all the time? Do they really talk like that there? I always thought it was just an exaggeration.

The only other thing I didn't like is that we never found out why Jerry owed money or who he owed it to. Did he actually owe money to someone, or did he just want it for himself? I wonder what happened to that suitcase of cash. And Jerry's son. I still have so many questions!
