I've always been a very avid dreamer, but the dreams I've been having lately are so insane that I've decided to start keeping track of them!

I'm not really sure what the heck is going on with my brain, but my dreams are getting a little out of control. First of all, I have like 5-7 dreams every night. Even when I take a half hour nap... BOOM: another dream. Every time I wake up in the middle of the night (which is A LOT) and go back to sleep, I start a new dream. Secondly, all these dreams are totally ridiculous and they feel so real.

I decided the best way to figure out why I'm dreaming the way that I am is to start keeping a diary of sorts. A dream journal. Whenever I wake up from a strange dream, I type it into the notes in my phone while it's still fresh in my brain. Last night I had 5 entries. To give you some ideas of why I feel this is necessary, here are real actual notes from some of my dreams last night:

  • Baby Rudolph (yes, the reindeer)
  • Harry Potter Book of Wands
  • Brett Eldredge abs (this one is my favorite!)
  • Stuck elevator
  • Math test
  • Time travel
  • Rainbow cow head statue with blinking eyes
  • Screaming at a broken window

Not ONE of these things seems to be even remotely normal. I feel like I need to go see a dream therapist or something. Anyways, if you didn't think I was crazy before, I'm sure you do now!
