Carrie Underwood put on one heck of a performance in Detroit this past week, and we have pictures and video to prove it!

What I'm about to say may spark some arguments, but I'm going to say it anyways...

NOBODY has better live vocals than Carrie Underwood. NOBODY.

I've seen a lot of live performances, both country and non-country, and after seeing Carrie Underwood at "The Storyteller Tour" last week, I firmly believe this statement is true.

Back in December, I surprised my mom by buying her some Carrie Underwood tickets for Christmas. We didn't have the greatest seats, but I was able to snag us a couple of meet & greets, which definitely made up for it. I took a little vacation this week so I could take her to the concert (it was on a Tuesday so it just made sense to take the whole week off), and we had the BEST time. She sang all of her hits, had approximately six costume changes (and she looked absolutely STUNNING in all of them), and hit EVERY. SINGLE. NOTE. I'm not kidding. She hit all of them. If you've ever tried to sing a Carrie Underwood song at karaoke, you know how exhausting it can be on your voice, and that's just ONE song! Imagine singing a bunch of them all in a row for two hours! Her voice held up, though, and so did her perfect legs.

One of my absolute favorite parts on the concert was when Carrie sang "Jesus Take the Wheel." It's not my favorite song by her, but you could really feel the emotion she put into it in the audience, which is why everyone was singing it at the top of their lungs (including me). She also sang a song from her new album that she wrote about her husband and her baby boy ("What I Never Knew I Always Wanted"), which almost brought me to tears. There was a slideshow of photos/videos of her cute little family, and she sat on a piano and poured her heart out. It was phenomenal. If you've never seen Carrie Underwood live, I cannot recommend it more. Good thing she's coming to The Great Jones County Fair this summer! *wink wink*

Here's a video of Carrie covering Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You:"

I apologize for the blurry video, but it's the audio that matters. Carrie Underwood NAILING "I Will Always Love You" ❤️

And here are a couple of pictures from the concert, including a photo of her 360 degree stage and me and my momma:

Carrie Underwood is so stunning that she makes everyone else look like a troll.
