Country Music ‘Boondock Festival’ Coming to Corridor This Summer

The corridor is getting its own country music festival THIS SUMMER. It's called the 'Boondock Festival' and will feature two stages of live music!

Now, let's get to some specifics. The first stage will feature these nationally-known country stars:

Lee Brice

Tyler Farr

Eric Paslay

Also performing on the main stage will be Lewis Brice and Beau Braswell.

The second stage will feature winners from a Battle of the Bands contest that will be waged around the state of Iowa.

It all happens Friday, September 7th, with live music beginning at 2 p.m. That's the day before the huge intra-state rivalry between Iowa and Iowa State that will be played the following day at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. Hence "Pregame" in the festival's logo.

The where: The Tiffin Soccer Complex, visible from I-380 and just north of Interstate 80.
