Rick Chesmore our Overall Pigskin Pick 'Em Winner!

This year's overall Pigskin Pick 'Em winner is none other than two-time champion Rick Chesmore a.k.a. "Lucky13". Congratulations, Rick! For being the Iowan who picked the most games correctly throughout the entire challenge, Rick won season tickets to the Cedar Rapids Titans AND is now eligible to win $10,000! We asked Rick a couple questions and THIS was his response.

How does it feel to have won the Pig Skin Pick ‘Em challenge?

"It feels pretty good to win this year! There were a lot of up and down moments this year with quite a few matchups. It most definitely made things interesting. I won last year as well, but it was a lot different then and I couldn’t really enjoy the win. Unfortunately, I was laid up in the hospital with viral meningitis at that time. It was a scary ride for me and my family, so to come back again this year to win back-to-back titles is really awesome!! I’m absolutely looking forward to next year already and the wonderful, fun and exciting competition!!"

What is it that you love about football? What's the secret to your success?

"Actually, football is 2^nd best to NASCAR for me, but there’s nothing better than going through the season and watching how it all comes down to the Super Bowl. The wins, the upsets, the sweat, the tears and all the high-fives make it great for what I call my “Sunday Funday”!! My team is the Pittsburgh Steelers!! It was hard to root against them at times this year, but a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do when his team isn’t having a good season. It’s kind of funny the way I decided on my picks this year…I picked them by a team of ducks! I put team names on the ducks, put them in a tub of water and whichever one I pick, is the one I choose to win for that week. Okay…maybe it’s not all quite that scientific, but the way I do my picks, will always remain my secret that I must never give away. There always has to be a winner and a loser.
