Comic Jim Gaffigan Returns to Cedar Rapids

Comedian Jim Gaffigan is coming back to the City of Five Seasons this summer.

Earlier this year, the comic and his family faced some not-so-funny news: he revealed his wife Jeannie  had a “life-threatening” tumor removed.

Gaffigan posted this on Facebook just last month: “...an MRI revealed @jeanniegaffigan had a large tumor around her brain stem that was life threatening. After nine hours of urgent surgery, the tumor was completely removed. She is now recovering at home. We thank you for your continued prayers”

Jim and his wife have five children together. With that many kids running around, it gives the comic plenty of funny material for his stage show. His NOBLE APE TOUR will hit the stage of the U.S. Cell Center on Saturday July 22.
