College Community Schools Receive Threatening Message
An inter-campus e-mail has been sent to parents and staff at College Community Schools in Cedar Rapids, specifying tomorrow, Sunday, March 4 as a day for a potential threat to be carried out on campus.
While there is no evidence of this as a credible threat at this time, we've seen such threats recently shut down schools as a safety precaution while they are investigated, and this one, according to the e-mail from administrators, is no exception.
Prairie High School, according to this message, has already determined the need to place a Cedar Rapids Police Officer on campus Sunday.
I am in contact with a friend, who is a parent of students at Prairie and shared this information with me, as seen below. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
