Courtlin Gets a Peek of Some Creepy New Features at Circle of Ash [GALLERY]

There's no better way to celebrate the Halloween season than by getting scared silly!

This Friday, September 30th, Circle of Ash Haunted Attraction at the Linn County Fairgrounds in Central City will begin welcoming guests. Only the brave will be able to make it through all three scare zones: Frightmare Forest, Circle of Ash, and Socko's Fun House! The website reads:

"The scariest haunted house in Iowa now presents three different haunted attractions all guaranteed to scare! Featuring a traditional indoor style haunted house experience, a walkthrough funhouse maze filled with terrorizing clowns, and a haunted forest brimming with monsters- Circle of Ash is sure to bring you an evening filled with screams."

Even if you've visited Circle of Ash in years past, it's definitely worth another visit. The haunted attraction is always adding new and terrifying features! The most recent additions are at Socko's Fun House, a dark maze filled with not-so-friendly clowns. When you step out of the maze, you'll be lead through a new area with some fun surprises. I won't give too much away, but this carnival is sure to be one you'll never forget!

Another new feature at Circle of Ash is the concession stand. It will be stocked with nachos, hot pretzels, warm cookies, candy, chips, and hot beverages, including coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider. T-shirts and hoodies will also be available for purchase.

Circle of Ash Haunted Attraction will be open Fridays and Saturdays in October from 8 p.m. to midnight. It's best to get your tickets early, because the later into October it gets, the busier the attraction becomes. Tickets often sell out between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. It's also important to note that children under 13 will need to have an adult chaperone with them.
