Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane have welcomed their fifth child into the world! Morgane shared the news on Mother's Day (May 12), via Instagram.

The Stapletons have not revealed their new baby's name or birth date -- or even if the child is a boy or a girl -- but Morgane did post a photo of the infant's tiny hand wrapped around her finger. "The most perfect Mother's Day," she captioned the shot. The Boot has reached out to Chris Stapleton's representatives and will update this story with more information if it is made available.

Stapleton and his wife announced that they were expecting (again) during a Nov. 2, 2018, concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The news came only seven months after the birth of the Stapletons' twins; in addition to two older children -- one son and one daughter -- the Stapleton family welcomed twin boys in April of 2018.

The Stapletons have largely kept their children out of the public eye. "I signed up for this; my children did not. I am a very private person, and in that respect, I keep my children out of it," Stapleton says of that decision. "They're children, and they deserve the chance to be children ...

"My wife comes out [in the public eye], and she's an adult, so she can choose to do that," he adds. "My children did not make that choice, and [talking about them in detail in public] is, for me, kind of off limits."

Musically speaking, Stapleton will have a few more weeks at home with his recently expanded family before he heads out on his 2019 All-American Road Show trek. The tour will keep him on the road from early July until early November.

In late April, Stapleton and pop star Pink shared their collaboration, a song called "Love Me Anyway," which appears on Pink's newest album, Hurts 2B Human. The country superstar also recently fulfilled another goal when he made a cameo on Game of Thrones.
