Chris Stapleton is Coming Back to Iowa in 2020
Get ready for some more "Tennesse Whiskey" here in Iowa! Country superstar Chris Stapleton will be taking over the Grandstand at the 2020 Iowa State Fair on Friday, August 21st.
Even if you're not familiar with any of Chris' songs like "Nobody to Blame," "Millionaire," or "Broken Halos," you've probably heard one of the songs he's written for other artists. He wrote "Crash and Burn" for Thomas Rhett, "Never Wanted Nothing More" for Kenny Chesney, "Drink a Beer" for Luke Bryan, and many others. According to the Des Moines Register, Chris is "credited with writing and co-writing 170 songs."
Chris just made a stop in Iowa back in July when he played the Grandstand at the Great Jones County Fair in Monticello. It was his first performance at that event, and next year will be his first performance at the Iowa State Fair. Tickets for the concert will go on sale next week on Monday, December 2nd at 10 a.m. You can purchase them online HERE or by calling 800-514-3849. They will cost between $49 and $90.
