In late 2016, Chris Janson made a stop at the Stage in Nashville for a concert that was being recorded for an upcoming TV special. The show was special for another reason, though: Janson's set included an unreleased song, called "Everybody."

Readers can press play on the video above to see Janson's performance of "Everybody" from his show at the Stage. In a press release, the singer says that the tune "is a song for everybody;" lyrics include, "Everybody wants to be famous / Everybody wants to be a superstar / Everybody wants to know what it's like to go drivin' in a real fast car / Everybody wants to be Hollywood / Everybody wants to shine / I don't really care what everybody does, baby, I just wanna make you mine."

"These lyrics are timely for the world we live in. I wrote it with a big smile on my face, and it's my hope that people smile and laugh when they hear it, too," Janson adds. "I love this song. It's a true story."

The Chris Janson concert TV special is scheduled to premiere on the Audience Network on Friday (March 24) at 9PM ET. Audience Network content is available on DirecTV channel 239 and U-verse channel 1114; it's also streaming on DirecTVNow, DirecTV.com, UVerse.com and via the DirecTV and U-verse apps.

This summer, Janson will be out on the road with Sam HuntMaren Morris and Ryan Follese, as a special guest on Hunt's 15 in a 30 Tour.
