Check Out 1,000+ Carved Pumpkins This Weekend in Iowa
A fun annual event is happening this weekend over in Ames!
Every year, Reiman Gardens puts on an impressive Halloween celebration called Spirits in the Gardens. The event features over a THOUSAND hand-carved Jack-O-Lanterns, as well as other festive activities for families.
This year's Spirits in the Gardens will take place this Friday, October 21st through Sunday, October 23rd. Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. is the "Jack-O-Lantern Sneak Peek," which will feature all the pumpkins, plus hologram projections, glowing orbs, and the Sycamore Falls Lighted Tower. Both Saturday and Sunday will also have those attractions, in addition to snacks and warm beverages (for an additional cost), candy, chemistry shows, and the ISU Cosplay Club.
If you want to check out this year's Spirit in the Gardens event, tickets are still available, but your options are limited! According to the official website:
"One time slot on Friday has sold out from 7:00 – 8:00. All of the time slots for Saturday have sold out. One time slot on Sunday has sold out from 6:00 – 7:00.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for adult members & ISU students, and $7 for ages two to 12. You can purchase your tickets online HERE.
