Iowa women's basketball games are more than just 'games' this season. Caitlin Clark and company sold out the entire season just after tickets went on sale. Everyone wants to watch this Iowa team for the ages. But how do you know that Iowa women's basketball is transcending sports? When the celebrities start showing up at Carver-Hawkeye Arena like they did this past weekend.

The Iowa women welcomed not one, but TWO high-profile fans to Carver on Saturday for their game against Bowling Green. Hawk Central reports that WNBA legend Sue Bird and actor Jason Sudeikis were in the front row hoping to see Caitlin Clark and company put on a show. The Iowa game wasn't their only basketball stop as the pair took in the Kansas vs. UConn game Friday night. Bird starred at UConn while Sudeikis is a Kansas native. While seated courtside at Carver, the two were shown on the big screen and fans convinced Sudeikis to break out his Ted Lasso victory dance!

The #4 Hawkeyes ended up with a 99-65 win over Bowling Green. Caitlin Clark finished with another impressive line of 24 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds. Hawk Central reports that Clark got plenty of help from her supporting cast. Sydney Affolter had 14 points and didn't miss a shot. Kate Martin had 17 points and five rebounds. Sharon Goodman had a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards. Hawk Central reports that Iowa shot 67% overall from the field. That kind of effort made the locker room visit from a couple of celebrities well-deserved on Saturday.
