Memorial Day weekend is upon us, which means summer has arrived, and the city of Cedar Rapids wants to help you stay cool!

Starting this Saturday (May 27th), all the splash pads within the city of Cedar Rapids will be up and running daily until September 4th. The water is turned on each day at 9 a.m. each day and turned off at 9 p.m. Here are all the parks with splash pads in the area:

  • Daniels Park - 940 Oakland Road NE
  • Greene Square Park - 400 4th Avenue SE
  • Hayes Park - 1924 D Street SW

  • Jacolyn Park - Jacolyn Drive & Gordon Avenue NW
  • Noelridge Park - 4900 Council Street NE
  • Redmond Park - 3rd Avenue & 16th Street SE
  • Twin Pines Park - 3500 42nd Street NE

When it comes to outdoor pools, Cedar Rapids has five that you can enjoy! Unfortunately, only one of them will be open for Memorial Day weekend. Bever Pool

All the Cedar Rapids pools above also accept Punch Passes and Summer Swim Passes. Punch Passes can be purchased at the Parks & Recreation Department office, the NW Recreation Center, or any outdoor pool when they are open. Summer Swim Passes must be purchased at the NW Recreation Center or the Parks and Recreation office during regular business hours. You can renew your 2022 Summer Swim Passes online.
