These Cedar Rapids Golf Courses Are Already Open!

The grass might not yet be green, but area golfers don't mind! As soon as the temperatures warm and the snow is gone, golfers like myself just want to get out on the course or driving range. Fortunately, several Cedar Rapids golf courses are now open, with more planning to open soon!

Cedar Rapids Golf Courses That Are Now Open

These golf courses in Cedar Rapids are officially open! Remember, carts may not be an option right now due to spring weather conditions.

• Twin Pines Golf Course - 3800 42nd Street NE, Cedar Rapids - The 18-hole course is open, as is the driving range, and the Mini Pines Minature Golf Course.
• Airport National Golf Course - 3001 Wright Brothers Blvd. East Cedar Rapids - The Airport National course is open for walking only as of 3/19. The driving range and practice greens do not appear to be open.

Cedar Rapids Golf Courses Opening Soon

These Cedar Rapids and Marion area golf courses are set to open soon, including one popular course that will open on Saturday, March 21st!

• Hunter's Ridge Golf Course - 2901 Hunter's Ridge Road, Marion - According to their website, the popular 18-hole course in Marion opens on Saturday, March 21st, with tee times still available.
• Gardner Golf Course - 5101 Golf Course Road, Marion - The City of Cedar Rapids confirms that Gardner Golf Course will open on March 26th, weather permitting. The course will then be open daily from 9 a.m. to dusk.

I also reached out to Ellis Golf Course in Cedar Rapids. They stated that they were still working on the course and are unsure about an opening date.

Just a reminder no matter where you play in the spring, make sure and call ahead to the pro-shop to check course conditions and availability!
