Cedar Rapids Fleet Farm Announces Grand Opening Date

The Edgewood Rd./Blairs Ferry Rd. and Highway 100 development area is off to a big start.

The retail chain Fleet Farm has been working hard since December to open its fourth Iowa location, and the Cedar Rapids store is apparently ready.

The store is located at 4650 Cross Point Blvd., at the corner of Edgewood Road and Highway 100. The scheduled grand opening is Friday, September 20, with a 4:15 ribbon-cutting that day.

Not only will it provide customers with quality outdoor products for hunting, fishing, camping, and farming, it will also have pet supplies and cleaning and household goods, footwear, work apparel, auto parts, toys and food, even gas, car wash, and auto repair.

This Fleet Farm will reportedly offer 200 jobs as well. Cedar Falls is opening a Fleet Farm in November, and the company even has plans for a Tiffin store. At 43 total stores in the midwest, the company hopes to double that by 2023.
