A Cedar Valley favorite has made USA Today's 10Best list of the 'Best Indie Ice Cream Shops Across the US!' Cedar City Creamery in Cedar Falls came in 10th place on the list for 2026.

About Cedar City Creamery

Located at 110 Lincoln St in Cedar Falls, Cedar City Creamery is a popular, locally-owned business that's known for their "farm-fresh ice cream, soft serve, homemade cookies, and Midwestern hospitality." According to the article from USA Today, the shop serves 28 different flavors of Ashby's Ice Cream, as well as milkshakes, Snow Creams, Dole Whip, slushies, sundaes, floats, ice cream cakes, and more. There are also daily and weekly specials for customers to try, which can be found on the business' Facebook page.

In addition to ice cream, Cedar City Creamery also offers homemade cookies, with flavors like chocolate chip, peanut butter, M&M's, and sugar, which they use for ice cream sandwiches. YUM!

This is actually the second year in a row that Cedar City Creamery has made USA Today's 10Best list of the best indie ice cream shops across the country. They made the list for the first time in 2025, coming in at number 9. It's also very highly-rated on Google, with a 4.8-star rating and a total of 433 reviews.

Business Hours
