After a month off of Listener Lunch because of Christmas, we are ready to get back at it in January!

Two week from today, December 21st, we will be hosting our very first Listener Lunch of 2022, and we're very anxious to tell you where we're headed! We're especially excited because we are kicking off the year at a restaurant that we've never done Listener Lunch at before. Every Tuesday in January, we will be taking listeners to lunch at...

Sugarfire Cedar Rapids!

Sugarfire is a company based out of St. Louis, Missouri that opened its very first Iowa location at 2350 Edgewood Rd SW back in 2020. The Cedar Rapids restaurant is locally owned by Mark and Diane Niebuhr, along with their daughter, son-in-law and brother, Johanna, JD and Henry Powers. The popular BBQ joint offers all sorts of smoked meats like brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and turkey, plus specialty sandwiches, ribs, and burgers. My personal favorite thing to order is the Brisket Cheesesteak, but the burger I ordered the last time I was there was fantastic. Plus I love the fries and the cornbread. Brain swears by the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. He says it's the best turkey he's ever had! Oh, and they have amazing Smoked Fried Artichokes as an appetizer and Smoked Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert. Basically, everything is good.

If you and six of your coworkers would like to join us for lunch at 11:30 a.m. on one of the Tuesdays in January, we are now taking entries! Once you're in, you're in for the whole year, so there's no need to keep signing up. We recommend getting your coworkers to enter too, that way your chances of getting selected are slightly higher. Get entered for 2022 Listener Lunch at Sugarfire Cedar Rapids below!
