Brain & Courtlin Will Kick Off 2022 Listener Lunch With Some BBQ

Sugarfire Cedar Rapids!

Sugarfire is a company based out of St. Louis, Missouri that opened its very first Iowa location at 2350 Edgewood Rd SW back in 2020. The Cedar Rapids restaurant is locally owned by Mark and Diane Niebuhr, along with their daughter, son-in-law and brother, Johanna, JD and Henry Powers. The popular BBQ joint offers all sorts of smoked meats like brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and turkey, plus specialty sandwiches, ribs, and burgers. My personal favorite thing to order is the Brisket Cheesesteak, but the burger I ordered the last time I was there was fantastic. Plus I love the fries and the cornbread. Brain swears by the Smoked Turkey Sandwich. He says it's the best turkey he's ever had! Oh, and they have amazing Smoked Fried Artichokes as an appetizer and Smoked Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert. Basically, everything is good.
