We're headed to another awesome Cedar Rapids restaurant next month!

Yesterday, Brain and I had our final September Listener Lunch at Biaggi's in Cedar Rapids. As sad as we are to say goodbye to all the pasta and bread and amazing servers, we are excited to announce where we will be eating in the month of October. Beginning next Tuesday, October 5th, we will be back at Chrome Horse Saloon over in the NewBo District!

Chrome Horse is a favorite restaurant of ours thanks to the awesome covered patio and the huge menu. They offer a wide variety of burgers, brick oven pizzas, wraps, and sandwiches, plus soup, salad, and lots of appetizers. I bet you can guess what my favorite thing to order is...

Not only are the nachos amazing, but I'm also a big fan of the spinach artichoke dip, the chicken tortilla soup, the Road King salad, and the 3rd Gear Burger. Really, you can't go wrong with anything you order. If any of that sounds good to you, you and six of your coworkers could join us for lunch at Chrome Horse on a Tuesday in the month of October! All you have to do is get entered for Listener Lunch HERE.

LOOK: See how much gasoline cost the year you started driving

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.

Read on to explore the cost of gas over time and rediscover just how much a gallon was when you first started driving.
