Brain & Courtlin Head Back to a CR Favorite for July Listener Lunch

We're baaaaaack!

We had four amazing lunches at Goldfinch Tap + Eatery in Marion in the month of June, but it's time for us to move on to a new restaurant. Now that July has (almost) arrived, we are excited to announce our latest Listener Lunch destination...

EDITH LUCIELLE'S BAIT SHACK & WING DEPOT!

Located at 6913 Mt Vernon Rd SE in Cedar Rapids, Edith Lucielle's is one of the coolest restaurants in the area. Not only is the food delicious, but the decor is totally one-of-a-kind! My favorite feature is the old vinyl record sleeves that line the ceiling. It's one of my favorite places to bring visitors from out of town.

If you've never tried the food from Edith Lucielle's, the appetizers are a MUST. We love the Jumbo Battered Mozzarella, the Chili Cheese Fries, the Iowa Eggrolls, and the Fried Green Tomatoes. For your main course, check out the Cowboy Burger, the Fried Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, or the Big Edith, which is a burger topped with pulled pork and fried mozzarella! Oh, and don't forget dessert. Brain loves the Tiramisu, but I'm a huge fan of the Peanut Putter Panic.
